Pitch-Page of the Week: Philip Fields

Every Wednesday we go through our candidate base and pick out one member of Beyond Credentials to feature as the Pitch-Page of the Week. Every Wednesday morning we go into the process, without knowing anything about the candidate we are going to feature.  But after it is done, everyone involved comes out of the process engaged, inspired, and changed.

I am a medically-retired Marine with six years of diverse leadership experience in and out of the Marine Corps.

“Changed” is a pretty strong word but that is exactly what happens. When you take a look at this week’s Pitch-Page of the week, Philip Fields, you get to know Philip. You learn about his previous life experiences and how those experiences are paving the way for his future. You understand the obstacles he has faced and how he has overcome them. At the most basic form, you get to connect with Philip. And because of that, you remember Philip (which is the name of the game when trying to make a splash with a company and get hired).

I am not bashing on Resumes. I think they are vital to the job search and people should spend time trying to perfect them (I did). But the fact is, there are limitations to a resume and there are tons of tools out there that can help you expand on those limitations.

Take a look at Philip’s Pitch-Page and ask yourself, would you really be this engaged, inspired, and changed if you only read his resume?

I encourage you to create a Pitch-Page on Beyond Credentials and connect with the Hiring Managers you are trying to impress.

Really glad we are getting people of Philip’s caliber on our site. This is WHY we made Beyond Credentials. Exactly why.
