Campus Marketing Representative

Our service, which connects top employers to top University students (3.0+ GPA) through our website, is expanding!
Duties would entail: 6-8 months of field marketing and promotions to communicate our free services to job seekers at all local Universities (including yours). Entire internship is under the supervision of our local employer account executive.
The ideal candidate would be in the top of their class in marketing, advertising, PR, etc with an outgoing and driven character.

WORK: 10-15 HRS/WK, 6-8 MONTH DURATION
PAY: $13+/HR, COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE

We connect top grads with top companies through our free but exclusive website reserved for current/graduating students and alumni from top-tier colleges and universities. Our members have strong credentials (minimum 3.0 GPA), outgoing personalities, and bright futures. Our members find top companies and job postings through our site and market themselves to anyone professionally through their own secure web page (includes resumes, photos, videos, work samples and personality traits). We vet and permit only quality companies to offer great opportunities to our members. Bottom line: we help companies stop finding more people and start finding the right people while proving to job seekers that bigger (job sites) is not always better.
We currently operate sales offices in Denver, Boulder, St. Louis, Kansas City & Chicago.
Be a current student at a top University pursuing a business degree (marketing/advertising/pr/sales preferred but not required) with a 3.0+ GPA (no exceptions). Both undergrad and grad students accepted.
Be extremely outgoing and active. Be well connected throughout the student body and local community.
Be entrepreneurial. This position will have an orientation/training period, but then will offer you freedom and creativity to get the word out, market and promote our site to qualified candidates in Chicago metropolitan area.
Be knowledgeable of Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Digg, and other social media outlets and be knowledgeable of how you will use these outlets to spread your message.
THE DETAILS
Your Goal: Your goal is to put to work your classroom knowledge of marketing, branding, promotion, advertising and communications to turn as many qualified (3.0+ GPA, pursuing bachelors or graduate degree) job seekers in your territory into members of beyondcredentials.com. Membership sign up process takes 60 seconds and members can choose not to receive emails/phone calls/mailings, of course. We don’t sell or share our member information with anyone, ever.
How we help you meet your goal: We’ll provide you generous compensation (starting at $13/hr) and appropriate amount of training. We’ll provide you with advertising support in your territory. We’ll provide you with a good product that is free to your target market, which gives them exclusivity to only great companies with great jobs, which gives them their own secure, professional and network-able website and which gives them the opportunity to be found by companies leaving traditional job boards in their search for top talent.
How you meet your goal: Over an average of 10-15 hrs/wk, you’ll put your networking and marketing lessons into action. The easy: putting up posters, distributing pamphlets, business cards, and disseminating promotional and collateral materials to make students aware of our free job search website. The challenging: administering surveys on campus, obtaining feedback from students about the site, assisting our local company sales executives on sales calls to companies, meeting with our board in Kansas City. Also, coordinating with your Career Services Center to organize promotional events to teach students how they can better market themselves to companies.
