Joining Beyond Credentials is a great opportunity for entrepreneurial spirits to sell a valued service and to network and sell across all industries and businesses in the most innovative cities in the US. We’re currently seeking Business Development executives in several major cities in the US. 

Our business-to-business sales team is responsible for selling intangible recruitment solutions to companies nationwide. Our enthusiastic and driven sales professionals focus on prospecting new business opportunities, meeting with decision-makers, analyzing their needs, and effectively delivering value-added solutions.

70% of time:

  • Prospecting and Identifying opportunities to acquire new business
  • Assisting inbound marketing team to supply educational, useful content to business leaders and HR professionals 
  • Contacting key decision makers to set appointments
  • Administering tailored, Web-based presentations to showcase our unique business partnership model and wide product offerings that will help prospective clients execute aggressive human capital strategies that produce sustainable, measurable results

30% of time:

  • Setting face to face appointments with top employers to identify their needs and provide consultation.
  • Conducting data gathering sessions and actively listening to prospective and existing clients by using consultative sales methods to fully understand their business, uncover their problems, and identify impact areas
  • Researching companies and their competitors, industry trends, and best practices
  • Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly sales quota
  • Becoming a subject matter expert by acquiring ongoing marketplace intelligence, by researching trends and best practices, reading business publications, seeking out learning and development opportunities, and utilizing internal training resources
  • Driving revenue by effectively addressing the client's business need, offering appropriate value proposition solutions, creating urgency, and closing accounts


  • Bachelors degree, 3.0+ graduating GPA from one of the top 250 Universities in the US
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience (B2B mandatory)
  • Cold calling experience helpful
  • Strong ability to initiate, establishe, and nurture meaningful business relationships over the phone and in person
  • Experience with conceptual sales, solution selling and value-based selling a plus
  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manages multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a competitive, results-driven culture
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office and the internet

Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Strong base salary + commission + Quarterly bonuses.

Benefits: High deductible health and disability insurance paid by the company; access to a Health Savings Account (HSA) with matching contributions by the company. 2 weeks paid vacation, 2 personal days and 6 sick days paid per year

Field Marketing Intern 

Our service, which connects top employers to top University students (3.0+ GPA) through our website, is expanding!
Duties would entail: 6-8 months of field marketing and promotions to communicate our free services to job seekers at all local Universities (including yours). Entire internship is under the supervision of our local employer account executive.

The ideal candidate would be in the top of their class in marketing, advertising, PR, etc with an outgoing and driven character.

We connect top grads with top companies through our free but exclusive website reserved for current/graduating students and alumni from top-tier colleges and universities.  Our members have strong credentials (minimum 3.0 GPA), outgoing personalities, and bright futures. Our members find top companies and job postings through our site and market themselves to anyone professionally through their own secure web page (includes resumes, photos, videos, work samples and personality traits). We vet and permit only quality companies to offer great opportunities to our members. Bottom line: we help companies stop finding more people and start finding the right people while proving to job seekers that bigger (job sites) is not always better.  

We currently operate sales offices in Denver, Boulder, St. Louis, Kansas City & Chicago.


Be a current student at a top University pursuing a business degree (marketing/advertising/pr/sales preferred but not required) with a 3.0+ GPA (no exceptions).  Both undergrad and grad students accepted.

Be extremely outgoing and active. Be well connected throughout the student body and local community. 

Be entrepreneurial. This position will have an orientation/training period, but then will offer you freedom and creativity to get the word out, market and promote our site to qualified candidates in Chicago metropolitan area. 

Be knowledgeable of Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Digg, and other social media outlets and be knowledgeable of how you will use these outlets to spread your message.     


Your Goal: Your goal is to put to work your classroom knowledge of marketing, branding, promotion, advertising and communications to turn as many qualified (3.0+ GPA, pursuing bachelors or graduate degree) job seekers in your territory into members of  Membership sign up process takes 60 seconds and members can choose not to receive emails/phone calls/mailings, of course. We don’t sell or share our member information with anyone, ever.   

How we help you meet your goal: We’ll provide you generous compensation (starting at $13/hr) and appropriate amount of training.  We’ll provide you with advertising support in your territory.  We’ll provide you with a good product that is free to your target market, which gives them exclusivity to only great companies with great jobs, which gives them their own secure, professional and network-able website and which gives them the opportunity to be found by companies leaving traditional job boards in their search for top talent.

How you meet your goal: Over an average of 10-15 hrs/wk, you’ll put your networking and marketing lessons into action.  The easy: putting up posters, distributing pamphlets, business cards, and disseminating promotional and collateral materials to make students aware of our free job search website. The challenging: administering surveys on campus, obtaining feedback from students about the site, assisting our local company sales executives on sales calls to companies, meeting with our board in Kansas City. Also, coordinating with your Career Services Center to organize promotional events to teach students how they can better market themselves to companies.
